Helping Young People Quit Smoking

Youth Tobacco Cessation e-module

Imagine helping a young person quit using tobacco.  Youth tobacco cessation is complex, but this e-module will demonstrate the unique challenges young people face and the approaches that may work best.

WHO IT’S FOR: Anyone who wants to help a young person quit smoking.

OUTCOMES: This training will provide an overview of how principles of youth engagement can be leveraged for tobacco cessation outcomes and will demonstrate client-centered strategies to address the holistic and complex nature of youth tobacco cessation.

TIME: 45 minutes

Help youth quit smoking: The N-O-T program

N-O-T on Tobacco (N-O-T) trains adult allies to facilitate the program in your school or community. Facilitators receive an in-person training session, handbook with resources, materials and evaluations.
