The Ontario Lung Association is committed to transparency and the continued release of annual reports that detail our accomplishments. Accomplishments that could not be achieved without our valued donors and our brilliant researchers.
Last year, we invested $1,146,644 in the brightest minds across Ontario, all searching for the next breathing breakthrough – whether it’s keeping children with asthma out of the hospital, preventing the loss of lung function in pneumonia patients or stopping the scarring process in those living with pulmonary fibrosis. Our unwavering commitment to lung health research will continue to help the 1 in 5 Ontarians living with lung disease, and all of us who need to breathe, through advancements in prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care.
We all share a responsibility to do something about our collective breathing, and we look forward to the endless possibilities of what we can achieve together.
