ORCS Membership

The Ontario Respiratory Care Society (ORCS) membership is open to nurses, physiotherapists, respiratory therapists, pulmonary function technologists, occupational therapists, social workers, pharmacists, dietitians, kinesiologists, and others involved in various aspects of respiratory care.

You can register for and manage your ORCS membership through The Lung Association membership portal.


Manage Your Membership

Existing ORCS members can log in to the member portal to register for events, update their contact information, and renew their membership. Link will open in a new page. 


Benefits of ORCS membership include:

  • The opportunity to facilitate leaning opportunities to help individuals improve their skills and knowledge when providing respiratory care
  • Reduced fees for seminars, workshops and the annual Better Breathing Conference
  • Membership in an ORCS regional group (Eastern, Central, Northeastern, Northwestern, and Western Ontario)
  • Receipt of the ORCS online publication, which contains research and practice-based articles, industry news and more
  • Receipt of mailings about all ORCS programs
  • Opportunity to work with The Lung Association – Ontario in advocating at a provincial level for lung health
  • Networking opportunities, access to leaders in the industry and opportunities to meet others interested in respiratory care

Membership Fees

Membership fee for 1 year is $40 for health-care providers. Students are welcome to join free of charge.
