Breath of Spring, one of The Lung Association’s largest fundraisers, boosts employee morale, brightens workplaces and demonstrates corporate commitment to helping Ontarians breathe. Now in its 20th year, the countdown to Breath of Spring in on, and we’re calling on all workplaces to get involved.
What: Breath of Spring, formerly called Tulip Day, is an Ontario-wide fundraiser that engages workplaces across the province in purchasing tulips (low fragrance for those with allergies and sensitivities) and crispy wave ferns (best suited to purifying the air within enclosed spaces) to support those living with lung disease.
Who: The Lung Association – Ontario.
Why: Breath of Spring supports the 1 in 5 Canadians living with lung disease by funding vital research, by giving those who struggle to breathe and their families the support and resources they need, and by fighting for policies that protect our air. It gives Ontarians the chance to show their support for someone they love who has been affected by lung disease.
When: Tulips and crispy wave ferns brighten workplaces across Ontario from February 26th to March 9th, 2018.
Where: Locations across Ontario.
