What We Do

PCAP is a standardized approach to providing guideline-based respiratory care in the primary care setting. Our goal is to assist healthcare professionals and organizations in their clinical practice by providing program implementation support, networking with other partner sites and quality improvement. If you need support or if you have any questions, please contact us.

The Provincial Coordinator will support the implementation of the program from initial program start to ongoing support for delivery of the program. PCAP provides the latest clinical guidelines and tools so that you do not have to develop them on your own.

We are involved in providing continuing education as well by co-hosting the annual Respiratory Health Forum, a 1.5 day education forum for primary care providers, and through our partnership with The Lung Association, ongoing clinical workshops to enhance your knowledge on the latest evidence and clinical practice guidelines for asthma, COPD and smoking cessation (including Motivational Interviewing).
